Health and Social Care Committee publish report on social care funding and workforce

The Health and Social Care Committee have published a report on social care funding and workforce.

The key recommendation is for the Government to use the spending review to invest £7bn more per year in adult social care by 2023/24.

UKHCA's CEO Jane Townson tweeted:

"Good to see the 21 conclusions & recommendations on adult social care funding & workforce from the Committee and that Ukhca and Agincare's evidence on homecare was quoted. Fingers crossed for an extra £7bn p.a. to help fairer access to care for people & proper valuing of careworkers."
