Have Your Say: Shaping the UK Small Business Strategy

At the Autumn Budget 2024, the UK government shared its intention to publish a ‘Small Business Strategy’ outlining its vision for supporting small businesses.

To evaluate this policy, the Business & Trade Committee has launched an inquiry examining barriers to entrepreneurship, growth, and competitiveness, as well as the effectiveness of current support systems in the UK. The Committee invites written evidence on topics such as tax, access to finance, public procurement, regulatory burdens, productivity, and looking to international examples, including those of the US, to identify effective strategies.

The deadline for written submissions is Wednesday, 16 July 2025, with a maximum of 1000 words. To have your say, you can find the inquiry here.
