Guidance issued on Kickstart job placement scheme
Guidance has been issued for employers looking to create job placements for young people, and apply for funding as part of the Kickstart Scheme. The scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.
Kickstart scheme for 30 or more job placements
A Kickstart Scheme application must be for a minimum of 30 job placements. If a single employer cannot provide this, they can apply via a Kickstart gateway. The scheme applies in England, Scotland and Wales.
