This week, our CEO, Dr Jane Townson OBE, met with social care leaders from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland through the Five Nations Care Forum. Together, they agreed a joint communiqué urging governments to recognise social care as essential national infrastructure. The forum committed to working in partnership with governments to strengthen resilience and protect people who rely on care.
