Sally Warren will be the permanent Director General for adult social care at the Department of Health and Social Care. Sally will also be part of the Joint Executive Team with NHS England.
Sally held the role on an interim basis from July 2025, following the departure of previous postholder, Michelle Dyson. Michelle Dyson has now taken up the role of CEO of the Alzheimer's Society.
