The Department of Health and Social Care have launched a survey to gain insight into the number of volunteers within the Adult Social Care sector and how they can best support these efforts.
The survey will help to inform the upcoming joint NHS and Care Volunteer Responders programme, which will make it more accessible for care providers to access volunteer support.
Volunteers will help assist the existing workforce by befriending care recipients and encouraging participation in their local communities, amongst other roles and responsibilities.
You can access the survey on the Capacity Tracker from Tuesday the 23 May until late June (closing date to be confirmed).
