Monday 9 June 2025, 2pm-3pm: Changing the conversation about hearing and dementia to drive positive action. Find out about the connection between dementia and hearing loss, how shared symptoms can complicate diagnosis, review current research on interventions and management, and discover how to challenge stigma and attitudes towards hearing loss with Dr Helen Henshaw, University of Nottingham and Dr Hannah Semeraro, RNID. Tuesday 24 June 2025, 2pm-3pm: Introducing Take Note: 100 musical ideas for carers to use with older people. Join Professor Adam Ockelford and Dr Fi Costa from the University of Roehampton as they provide practical suggestions for using music in a range of situations and demonstrate some of the outcomes that can be achieved.
