CQC blog - introduction of Transitional Regulatory Approach from September
The CQC have published blog updates reminding providers that the CQC will aim to make regulatory contact with all Adult Social Care providers by the end of March 2021. From September, the CQC will be evolving their approach to monitoring during the pandemic and moving towards a transitional regulatory approach, which may include visiting providers.
The CQC is expecting to launch a new strategy in May 2021, and will undertake a public consultation on this in January 2021.
