Cold weather alert issued by UKHSA 13-16 February 2026

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a yellow Cold-Health Alert (CHA) for the North West, North East, Yorkshire and Humber, West Midlands and East Midlands regions. The alert will be in place from 6am on Friday 13 February until 8am on Monday 16 February. A yellow alert means that the weather conditions could affect the health of vulnerable older people or people with pre-existing medical conditions.
