Children's Social Care

The Education Committee are holding an inquiry into the state of children's social care in England. They are inviting updated and new evidence - following an inquiry having been begun in December 2023 and closed due to the election.

They are interested in: demand; the state of the market; cost; early intervention; alternatives to residential care; impact of care on education; experience of disabled children; safeguarding; effectiveness of Ofsted; and the Government's strategy.
