Jon and his family are active members of their local church and community.

Jon’s wife has worked as a manager in the care sector for the past 20 years, specialising in homecare for most of this time. Jon thus appreciates the value of social care, the work of our sector and the challenges our members face.

Jon is keen to deepen his understanding of homecare and looks forward to meeting staff, members, and key stakeholders when he starts.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Jon to the Homecare Association.

Homecare Association Chief Executive Officer, Dr Jane Townson, said:

Jon brings a wealth of relevant experience to the Homecare Association and his background, skills and personal attributes will enable him to make a valuable contribution to our work. Jon’s style is collaborative and supportive, and we are really looking forward to him being part of our team and helping with our mission to shape homecare together.

Jon Stone said:

I recognise the importance of supporting and representing homecare providers and am thrilled to have the opportunity to assist with this work. Ensuring that an organisation’s operations, governance and finance processes run smoothly creates the stability necessary for sustainable growth. Continuing to add value to members will help the Association to expand its influence and impact and I look forward to contributing to delivery of the strategy and business plan.
