APPG on loneliness and connected communities - call for evidence
The APPG on loneliness and connected communities is looking for evidence to support its inquiry into intergenerational initiatives to reduce loneliness. They are looking for:
-
Examples of intergenerational initiatives that have reduced loneliness or strengthened community connection.
-
Examples of how intergenerational approaches have strengthened sense of belonging to place whether through shared use of community spaces, neighbourhood-based projects, or initiatives rooted in local identity and heritage.
-
Insights on how loneliness is being addressed across different sectors (health, housing, education, workforce, civil society).
-
Data, research, or evaluation findings that demonstrate impact or measurable outcomes.
-
Perspectives on barriers, gaps, and opportunities to embed loneliness strategies more effectively across government and communities.
