Law firm Anthony Collins (AC) has announced the appointment of new partner Laura Jordan to further strengthen its specialist health and social care offering.
Laura joins AC from Voyage Care where she was legal director, company secretary, and data protection officer, and helped establish their in-house legal team during her eight-year tenure. Prior to that, she spent seven years as a corporate finance and private equity lawyer at Pinsent Masons, working with some of the UK’s top providers in the sector.
Laura said: “This is an exciting opportunity to grow the corporate work here at Anthony Collins, building on its already strong market position in the health and social care sector. I chose AC because of its service-first ethos and commitment to improving lives, communities and society through its work and I’m looking forward to using my experience to help clients achieve their goals.”
Matthew Wort, senior partner at Anthony Collins, added: “We consistently seek out individuals who share our commitment to working towards creating a positive impact in society and help improve lives with the work that we do.
“Laura is a fantastic addition to our health and social care sector team and I am confident that she will bring great insight to our clients to support them in the valuable work they do as we continue to grow the support we provide to our clients across our specialist sectors.”
Homecare Association CEO Jane Townson said: “The Homecare Association extends a warm welcome to Laura Jordan. Laura’s experience of working as a lawyer in Voyage Care means she has an excellent understanding of legal issues facing providers. We look forward to working with her to support our members.”
