Inquiry to examine government progress on digital transformation of NHS
The House of Commons Health and Social Care Committee has launched an inquiry into digital transformation in the NHS. This will explore the current use of digital technology and how it needs to change to deliver service improvement and better outcomes for patients.
The inquiry will consider key aspects of NHS digital transformation, including digitalising health and care records for interoperability so that they can be accessed across primary, secondary and social care.
The inquiry is accepting evidence until 10 June 2022.
