Integrated Care Systems Boundary Decisions in England and Design Framework

The Government have published a paper outlining decisions made on Integrated Care System boundaries. As part of the work underpinning the Health and Social Care Bill, the boundaries of Integrated Care Systems were reviewed on the basis that they should match local authority boundaries, where possible.

Also of interest might be the Integrated Care Systems: Design framework which outlines how NHS leaders and organisations should operate with partenrs in Integrated Care Systems from April 2022.

Skills for Care have also updated their Principles of Workforce Integration in line with the context of ICS implementation.
