Several Homecare Association members were honoured in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List, announced on 2 June.
Robert Stephenson-Padron, Managing Director of Penrose Care in Belsize Park, London, was awarded an OBE for services to social care.
Corinne Baisden, Registered Care Manager of Managing Care Limited in Croydon received an MBE for services to social care and the community in London, particularly during Covid-19.
Christina Handasyde Dick, founder and CEO of Guardian Angel Carers in Chichester, was also recognised for her efforts during the pandemic, with an MBE for services to home care and charity.
While Trudi Jameson, owner and director of Home Instead Durham was awarded a BEM, British Empire Medal, for services to care and older people.
Many congratulations to them all. We are delighted with their success, in the Queen's Platinum Jubilee year.
