Help shape CQC's approach to system oversight
CQC is seeking views on its approach to system oversight, in anticipation of new responsibilities under the Health and Care Bill relating to local authority assurance and oversight of Integrated Care Systems.
The regulator's thinking so far is in a video, which covers emerging scope, quality statement themes, evidence for assessments, possible follow-up to reviews and scoring.
CQC is now calling for views on specific areas: workforce requirements, local authority assessment and assurance (slides relating to this), place and provider quality, assessment of Integrated Care Systems and evidence gathering and requirements.
